No one's ever told me of one. At least, not to the recipients. Remember that we're still the ones channeling that power, so it can wear you down if you're not careful about it. Without explaining more than would be my place to, it seems more the idea of harboring power itself that unsettles her. There wasn't much I could answer regarding how sharing such a thing works, having never done it myself. She might be reassured to simply know I can take it back if it should become necessary.

It's also not really her power. It's all borrowed- if you're not here or not sharing it, she won't have anything. The guys couldn't use my power until I arrived.

Yup. And you can tell her to talk to Pyra if she needs a firsthand account of how it goes, I know they're chummy.

When I was learning, I tried reciting a verse from the Cosmogony in Old Lucian. It helped me to focus, made it feel more like a ritual... ancient magic, ancient method, right? Like casting a spell in a video game. [His cheeks turn pink at the confession.] Formality isn't the worst way to go, when it comes to this stuff.

Hm...that's quite a clever idea, actually. I imagine such a thing will take concentration, particularly without experience. Perhaps I'll have to take some time to consider the method itself.

Concentration, for sure. Don't give up if it doesn't work right away, either. Magic's a pain in the ass sometimes, you know that.

Well, so what if she didn't want it? Not everyone wants power, or has a use for it. If she said thanks, but no thanks, what would it change for you?

[Ardyn doesn't strike him as the type to get salty about someone refusing an offer for help. God knows Noct has refused him plenty of times already for little things, mostly because Ardyn offers to help with like, everything.]
