I am ready to remove Hades' tempering, and so am making the final preparations. I expect to remain comatose for a few days at minimum after the confrontation, and our households will be exhausted for at least twelve hours. Someone will need to watch Hythlo during that time and you are his favourite, so I thought you might be best. You needn't feel obligated, however, as I do have other options available.

One of my best friends arrived recently. In his world the Warrior of Light is not me because I do not exist. He allows me to treat him as I would my own, so it is ok.

I have been planning things as efficiently as possible. With Estinien's arrival my odds of survival are now quite high, so if your preferred choice would be caring for Hythlodaeus you needn't feel obligated to join the fight.

You also needn't feel obligated to care for Hythlo as I have other options available to me. You are just my first choice, and I know you enjoy time with him so I thought it would not be remiss to ask.

Phase 1 will be an enjoyable fight, as Hades has offered to spar with Ardbert and I in his other form. Injuries sustained would be minor to moderate, and there will be opportunity for healing and recovery.

If anyone decides not to continue on to the second phase then they would leave at this time.

Phase 2 will then be initiated once I use Living Dead and deliver myself a fatal blow. My soul thus severed from my body, I will begin the assault upon Hades' soul and he will do everything in his power to stop me.

What I am trying to say is that if you assist with Phase 2 you will witness me kill myself, Noct. And then you will have to fight around my corpse until the battle is done.

I do not want to ask that of you, nor of your father.

I have the Echo. Living Dead will preserve my body at the cusp of death and I will be able to stuff my soul back into it.

That I need to do this to remove Zodiark's claws from Hades' soul is the most fucked up thing I think.

But it will be fine. I am not going to really die. It's only going to be a little stab wound. Very small and precise. It will still look unpleasant, but I will minimize visual discomfort to the best of my ability.

I am also taking measures to minimize the inconvenience I will cause for everyone both during and after. There are only a few things left that I need to arrange.

if u keep ppl out of it theyll feel bad about not being here, esp knowing what happened. if u let ppl be involved theyll have to see it but at least theyll understand how urgent it is and work that much harder. one is better than the other

While it is not something I need, a spar with Estinien would be of benefit as well as something you both may enjoy.

At home there is no Dragoon alive that can match Estinien in combat. He likes pretending he's an unapproachable arsehole, but in reality he is a big sap and kind of a dork.

Switch up your weapons throughout, and use your warping ability at least once. I think he'll enjoy the challenge of an unfamiliar, dynamic combat style like yours. It will also give him an idea of what to expect when we face Hades, so he won't be caught off guard.

I do hope he fits in. I am a bit worried about him.

He is horrendous with technology, but if you send him a message I will make sure he receives it.

He is 6'8" with long, silver hair and pointed ears. He prefers traveling by rooftop and finding very high places to perch on. He is a bit like a cat that way.
